About me.

This is the part where you get to know me ..yikes. I am a little nervous, where to start?… Hi, nice to see you here. I am Catherine, the voice behind Herbloomjourney.com.

I am a stay-at-home mum, a writer, and a certified DIY hobbyist. When I am not writing, you will find me running after my toddler, and if he happens to have woken up on his good foot, I will either sew, crochet, make a perfume, embroider, or pick a new hobby altogether.

Here’s a fun fact about me: I was born and bred in the beautiful country of Kenya(Africa), home to the amazing Big Five wildlife! It’s pretty incredible to see these magnificent animals roam freely in their natural habitat.

Why Herbloomjourney?

I have always been a daydreamer and a book lover, especially when it comes to romance and poetry; I happen to be very passionate about writing.

My passion for womanhood sparked a desire to empower and connect with women everywhere, leading to the creation of this blog, which I like to think of as our internet matriarchal community. I’m so excited to share this journey with all of you!

For years, women have been forced to deprive the very essence of what makes us women, but our strength and happiness lie in our softness, and that is what Herbloomjourney will encourage you to embrace femininity.
