What are manifesting blocks.
Manifesting blocks are obstacles that one experiences while manifesting/using the Law of Attraction.
We’re told to vibrate at a high frequency to attract what we desire, but the truth is it’s not as easy as giving gratitude or being happy.
You can do everything in the book and still feel like you’re stuck, even I, feel like that from time to time.
So how can you get unstuck.
How can you stop feeling like you’re running on a hamster wheel or trying to reach for the moon?
Well, it will help to understand the following.

Common obstacles in manifestation.
There’s multiple reasons as to why you’re experiencing manifesting blocks, layers and layers of blocks that we’re unaware of.
1. focusing on the problem.
When I learned that this is the biggest block that most people encounter, it changed my life.
A while ago I was stuck on looking for sustainable freelance writing opportunities that would allow me the flexibility as a full-time Mum, single parent, and writer on this blog.
It was so disheartening to navigate the world of freelance blogging as a beginner, and before I realized it, I was no longer focusing on finding gigs but rather the lack of opportunities.
Each cold pitch turned into a “no thank you, we’re currently not accepting writers” and I had never been so morales and desperate.
I had gone from a sunny manifester to a brooding pessimist.
Until I came across this YouTuber called Annie with a channel called Illuminating Joy, and it all clicked.
I was hyper-focused on why I couldn’t seem to land any gigs.

2. Low vibration.
I always make sure to say that we can’t always be in a high vibration, we’re humans our emotions are like a pendulum.
However, there are certain emotions that you want to watch out for while manifesting.
Anger, jealousy, fear, and desperation will all stall your desires and only persist.
When I couldn’t find any freelance writing opportunities I started to get desperate and angry at the system.
This only kept me farther from my goals.
Again you will not always be able to maintain a sunny and optimistic demeanor, but it’s really important to regulate your nervous system and get yourself back to that state.
3. A need to control fate/outcome.
The problem with being ultra-specific about the outcome of what you’re manifesting is the possibility of awakening resistance.
Specific outcomes should only be anticipated when you’re sure that you have no resistance toward the possibility.
Those with strong faith are rewarded, but what about those with quicksand resolve?
4. Operating on the concept of time.
Clocks and calendars are great, as a matter of fact, they’re ingrained in our performance.
But in the realm of manifesting, time becomes irrelevant to the outcome.
On a day-to-day basis, we set aside time for everything; we might say that it will take us three months to build our dream home, but manifesting time only acts as a deterrent.
By placing a threshold on your desire, you block that desire from materializing in its due course.
5. waiting on a proof of concept.
Neville Goddard talked a lot about “living in the end” commonly referred to as the Law of Assumption.
Before your manifestation materializes, you must first believe that it’s already in your possession. Sure you can see it, but can you be it?
Before you can meet your dream man, you must treat yourself with just as much love and respect, you must act as if.
However, most of us wait for a proof of concept.
6. Limiting beliefs.
At the very core of manifesting blocks is a subconsciously limiting belief that keeps you stuck.
Limiting beliefs are emotions, values, and beliefs that are subconsciously ingrained in us as a result of past experiences.
Someone who grew up in financial hardship will most likely struggle while manifesting money even if they become a vibrational match or use all sorts of Manifestation methods.
Until they identify the limiting belief and form new neuropathways that will support their manifestation.
7. A feeling of deservingness.
Believe it or not, you’re self-worth directly correlates with your ability to manifest.
Working on your self-worth will help you get past manifesting blocks and find true contentment.
Where to start? Start with self-discovery, then build your worth so that you feel worthy of manifesting the world.
8. Energetic clutter.
Hmmm… what exactly do I mean by energetic clutter? Anything that is slowly sucking the quality of your energy.
This could be a dirty cluttered space, toxic relationships, the music you listen to, or even the quality of your nutrition.
And your overall holistic wellness.
I will give you tips on how to clear your energy towards the end.

Areas you might be experiencing manifestation blocks.
Are you feeling manifesting blocks in any of these areas in your life, and what are a few common indicators?
Money/Abundance.
This one is pretty common, especially for those who carry limiting beliefs around money, if you find yourself thinking along these lines then you have an abundance blockage;
- There’s not enough money to circulate around.
- Money is difficult to make, I must exchange lots of energy to get rich.
- Constantly worrying about bills even when earning enough.
Love/Relationships.
- You feel unloved in your relationships.
- You attract emotionally unavailable partners or friends.
- You’re needy and desperate in your relationships.
Self-worth and identity.
- You experience imposter syndrome despite being told that you’re diligent in your work.
- You often feel small and undeserving.
- You find it hard to accept compliments and celebrate yourself.
Health&body.
- You struggle to feel comfortable in your skin.
- You’re always sickly.
- You use negative talk when it comes to your body i.e I hate my thighs.
Home& environment.
- You feel stiffled by your environment, physical, digital or mental.
- You feel disconnected from your environment.
- You’re holding on to clutter.
Spiritual connection.
- You don’t listen to your inner voice/gut/intuition.
- You’re conflicted on existence of a higher power.
- Your search for meaning in places you can’t find it.

- You start projects and quit halfway.
- You feel lost/unmotivated.
- You’re scared of your true potential.
How to tell if you’re experiencing manifesting blockages.
How to get past manifesting blocks and align with your desire.
There’s no better way to tell if you’re blocked than going inward through journaling.
Here are a few quick journaling prompts that will help you identify any manifesting blocks that are keeping you stuck;
- Do I really believe that I will get what I am manifesting?
- What do I fear will happen when I get what I desire?
- What beliefs/thoughts are keeping me from what I desire?
- What would receiving my desire prove about me?
- Am I truly aligned with my desire?
- What can I do in this very moment to align with my desire?
This is the main point, right? I know you’re thinking, “Oh, just spit it out.”

Now that you have, let’s take a look at a few ways you can overcome this manifestation obstacle.
Focus on the solution, not the problem.
Remember the story I gave you about how frustrated I was that I couldn’t land freelancing opportunities for some time, and I began to focus on the lack instead of what I actually wanted.
And then, as if I was being redirected, I landed on a video on a channel called Illuminating Joy, where the creator teaches a simple technique to shift your focus from problem to solution.
She starts by drawing two circles.
In the first write what you don’t want a k a the problem that you keep brooding over.
In the second circle, write the solution. Simply put what you’re actually manifesting.
For me, circle one is I can’t find flexible, well-playing blogging gigs; I keep getting rejections.
Circle two, I wrote that I am open to receiving freelance, flexible well, well-paying writing gigs that align with my passion.
Next, she folds the paper and focuses on circle two, the solution. Every time you feel yourself starting to think of the problem look at the solution.

Reframe limiting beliefs.
Overcoming limiting beliefs to attract your desires is a whole topic in itself.
Techniques such as visualization, affirmations, and cognitive behavioral therapy can help you rewrite your beliefs and unblock your manifestations.

Become a vibrational match.
I love Abraham Hicks, a Law of Attraction teacher, because of how she’s always emphasizing taking control of your emotions.
If you’re feeling good, it becomes 10× more easier to attract your desires. There’s no resistance you’re simply a match.
How to raise your energy is through emotions such as gratitude, love, hope, and peace.
I repeat you may not always be in a high vibrational state, but it’s important to learn how to get back to this state by regulating your nervous system.
Release fear and doubt.
Unfortunately, these two low vibrational emotions keep our desires from manifesting longer than they ought to.
Fear and doubt can be overcome through these simple exercises.
- Shadow work journaling to raise awareness.
- Emotional freedom technique which involves tapping at certain meridian points in your body while repeating a positive message.
- Regulating your nervous system through practices such as ground (connecting with nature).

Let go of desperation.
This common feeling plagues most manifesters, both newbies and seasoned because we factor in time and approach our desires from need.
Here’s a simple way to get through this: ask yourself, “Do I need this (what you’re manifesting) to survive? What are my basic survival needs?”
This signals your mind to believe that you will be okay with or without your desire thus you’ll naturally let go of desperation, vibrate higher, and receive faster
Release the outcome.
Manifesting is basically putting faith in a higher source of power who controls the energetic realm and, well, everything…
This is what it means to not try to control the how and the when; your power ends when you put an intention out there and align yourself.
Go on about your life and trust that it’s yours.
Clear any energetic clutter.
Release anything that is sapping out your energy and interfering with your vibration.
This could look like:
- Declutter your home/office.
- Avoid negative people.
- Cut off toxic relationships.
- Unfollow low-vibrational content.
- Cleanse your space and life using herbs such as sage, or crystals.
